APRIL 2023 — In December 2025 Rob Boston retired after a 38 year career with Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

We were delighted to speak with him just after AU’s first Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF) in Washington, DC.

Here is our wide-ranging conversation with him including a recap of lthe event, his respect for the tenacity of the Religious Right, and why he sees hope for the future of democracy. (Of course, this was before the 2024 election.)
